<re:Play> includes an educational programme of workshops and lectures.
The programme aims to enable people to continue learning about the technologies and concepts
used by artists who work with computers, games and other digital mediums.

The workshops and lectures will be lead by Adam Hyde and Honor Harger from r a d i o q u a l i a,
and one of the key artistsfrom the <re:Play> exhibition, Graham Harwood from the UK artist group, Mongrel.

As well as developing art work using digital technologies, the workshop leaders have also developed their own software,
such as Linker and Nine(9) made by Mongrel and The Frequency Clock and The Theory Machine made by r a d i o q u a l i a.
These softwares can help people make their own creative projects.
The workshops in Cape Town and Johannesburg will introduce participants to key aspects of
digital media production and will utilise some of these software projects.
