pHonic is installed at The Physics Room 18.07.01 - 12.08.01.

pHonic comprises four computer based sound projects + a series of slide projections.

Each sound project is a tool, a mechanism or an audio environment which requires user interaction in order for it to be actuated. The installation comprises 3 PC computers, 1 Macintosh computer and 4 slide projectors. Each computer is installed on a low plinth. Users sit on the floor to interact with the works, on specially constructed cushions.

http://www.audiorom.comshiftcontrol by audiorom is a CDROM based work, which comprises an interactive audio composition environment.

 

daarzs by rigasZieds is a web based project built in Flash. Users interact with a series of organic objects, ordered by numbers, which move and evolve in sound_scaped microworlds.

 

Bakteria by Arcangel Constantini is a web based project built in Shockwave and Flash. It features a series of interactive sound environments, where users play with alien parasites to create upbeat electronic music.

 

<earshot>by Andi Freeman & Jason Skeet is a free piece of cross-platform software created in Java, which enables users to create endless mixes of the web's acoustic spaces. <earshot> trawls through the web searching for audio files and streams which users can play with and manipulate.
